Asda beats sustainability target and delivers savings

Asda, the UK retailer and subsidiary by US giant Wal-Mart, has released figures showing that it has beaten its carbon emission reduction target through the elimination of 17 million miles from its supply chain and delivered over £70m in cost savings in 2010.
