EURAVIA inks Asia-Pacific MRO deal with Sikorsky

Based in Lancashire, England, EURAVIA specialises in aftermarket services for P&WC PT6 aero engines. The partnership will support Bell 412 and 212 aircraft throughout Australasia. Sikorsky Aircraft Australia Limited is based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, and does business as SIKORSKY HELITECH, a Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS) company.

Under the terms of the agreement SIKORSKY HELITECH and EURAVIA will develop a joint engine MRO strategy for Australia and Southeast Asia to support PT6T-powered Bell 212, Bell 412 and Bell UH-1H helicopters.

Sikorsky’s support will include storage, logistics and distribution services across Australia as well as logistical facilities for shipments to and from Australia and the United Kingdom.

“This teaming agreement will enable us to provide an in-country inventory of overhauled certified PT6T engines for sale and exchange – as well as associated accessories and components,” said David Stilianos, general manager of SIKORSKY HELITECH.

“Additionally, last summer we launched PT6 engine maintenance training which further complements our ability to support regional customers with a single source MRO platform.”
