Gas giants announce joint venture

Solvay and Air Liquide, two major groups in the chemical and gas sectors, have announced a world-wide joint-venture in order to meet demand from the electronics industry for fluorine cleaning gases for large flat panel displays and silicon thin film photovoltaic manufacturing.
