Supply chain integration behind HP decision to keep PC arm

New Hewlett-Packard chief executive Meg Whitman has said that she decided to retain the PC group as the “numbers were incredibly compelling.” Citing deep integration of the PC group in the company’s supply chain and procurement, Whitman said the company was “stronger” with the unit.
