Vector Aerospace inks engine serving MRO deal

As per the terms of the two-year extension of this exclusive agreement, Vector, a global independent provider of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, provides Air Greenland with fixed and rotary wing aircraft engine repair and overhaul support from its Vector Aerospace Engine Services – Atlantic facility in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada and from its Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services – North America facility in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.

Air Greenland is also supported by Vector’s network of service centres in the US and in Europe.

Jeff Poirier, president of Vector Aerospace Engine Services – Atlantic, disclosed that the agreement with Air Greenland includes various repairs, hot section inspections, modifications, overhaul services, and test support on the P&WC PT6A, PW123 and PT6T series engines.
